Here's some food for thought: read the November Wellness Newsletters "From Your Farmer" at https://5il.co/1k40r and "The Dietitian's Desk" at https://5il.co/11d10.

A resident of the City of Tonawanda, a retiree & Korean War vet, is a great neighbor to Mullen Elementary School. He loves to greet passersby in the morning & after school with a friendly wave from his window or porch. He's pictured during this morning's Halloween parade.

On Oct. 27, Tonawanda will hold Think Pink Day. Warriors will wear their favorite pink clothing to recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Due to the inclement weather and high winds both TNT events are cancelled tonight 10/20. These two events include the tailgate from 6:00pm-7:00pm and the bonfire from 7:00pm-8:00pm. At this time these events will not be rescheduled.

@THSGirlsVarsity, scoring 3 times against Albion in the second 40 minutes to erase a 1-0 deficit at halftime, advances in the Section VI Class B girls soccer tournament Wednesday at Clint Small Stadium.
Tonawanda 3, Albion 1 after full time.

Thank you, members of the Exchange Club and Kiwanis Club, for hosting the annual Tonawanda-North Tonawanda Football Luncheon today at the Niawanda Park Pavilion. The event featured Naaman Roosevelt & Jay Holler speaking to the teams before Friday's 113th T-NT game.

That sound you heard in the City of Tonawanda at 2 p.m. was the Warriors motorcade sending a message that the T-NT game is Friday night. The motorcade left the Tonawanda High School parking lot and drove by the elementary schools.

Food for thought: the October issue of "The Dietitian's Desk" newsletter is now on the Tonawanda City School District website at https://5il.co/1je5a. Also, the October issue of "From Your Farmer" is posted at https://5il.co/1je59.
