Thank you

On Wednesday (Aug. 25), TEA along with Tonawanda Common Council and Tonawanda BOE sponsored Tonawanda’s annual School Supply Drive. We collected a fair amount of school supplies that have been sent to the various buildings for student and/or staff access.

We also were given a large number of monetary donations. This money can be used to purchase additional supplies as needed. So, please feel free to contact myself, Sue Gorney, or Amy Edgerton if you have students who are in need of such assistance. This money can be used for all supplies including larger items such as backpacks, calculators, etc. This money will also be used to supplement Warrior Wear as needed.

A huge "Thank you" goes out to everyone who donated supplies and volunteered! It was great to see our entire community, at every level, participate in this event!

A special mention to Jenna Koch, Jay Hall, Beth Rosocoft, Evelyn Zuppo, Heather Sternin, St. Francis, John White, John Bender of Bender’s Technical Detailing, Judge Cassata, and Squires Tap Room for their very generous donations. An extra mention to the Knights of Columbus who donated $500!

Regards,
Maureen Zarcone
