Chris Garbo (5) scored 4 goals for Tonawanda in a 10-1 win over Eden at Clint Small Stadium Monday.

Tonawanda opened its boys soccer season scoring goals in bunches for a 10-1  ECIC win over Eden at Clinton Small Stadium Monday.

Six Warriors scored, with senior forward Chris Garbo netting four, Derek Leiker with a brace, and Ali Al Haddad, Jonny Goeddertz, Mohammad Janno and Joey Jenkins scoring once each.

Garbo scored in the first 20 seconds for the Warriors, who put three balls in the back of the net in the just the first nine minutes of the match. Garbo scored twice from Janno in the first seven minutes for a 2-0 lead, and Al Haddad scored from Garbo's assist for 3-0.

Joey Jenkins (6)

The Warriors led 3-0 at halftime and then quickly scored twice in the first five minutes after the interval: Janno scored his first of the match from Al Haddad, and Joey Jenkins scored from Tyler Syph.

Jonny Goeddertz (3)

Garbo scored in the 54th and 56th minutes, first from Sammy Baker and then from Janno, for 7-0. In the 64th minute, Goeddertz scored from Leiker, who then scored twice in the 76th and 78th minutes, first from Brett Verrall and then from Goeddertz.

Ali Al Haddad (7)

The Warriors have two Labor Day Weekend fixtures at home before they travel to Alden on Sept. 7 in their next ECIC match.
