The halls of the Tonawanda City School District were filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of smiles as students returned for the first day of school.
From the youngest learners entering their classrooms for the first time to returning students reconnecting with friends and teachers, the day was marked by warm welcomes, happy reunions and the promise of a new year of learning and growth. Families gathered for photos at school entrances, while staff members greeted students with encouraging words, high-fives and hugs to help kick off the year on a positive note.
