The Class of 2026 marked a milestone achievement during their commencement ceremony, surrounded by family, friends and a meaningful tribute to the nation’s history.
As loved ones arrived, they were welcomed by a special display made possible through the generosity and partnership of the Erie Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club. The organization presented its 26-flag tribute to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, offering graduates and guests a unique opportunity to reflect on the nation’s journey.

The exhibit featured 26 official American flags that have flown throughout the country’s 250-year history. Together, the flags provided a visual representation of the United States’ growth and evolution, while honoring the values that have shaped the nation since its founding.
For the Class of 2026, the exhibit offered a powerful reminder that every generation helps shape the future. Just as the American flag has evolved throughout the nation’s history, graduates now begin their own journey of making meaningful contributions to their communities, country and world.
As the graduates of the Class of 2026 embark on their next chapters, they do so with a reminder of the enduring values represented by the flags surrounding them — and the important role they will play in writing the next chapter of America’s story.
