Update | June 25, 2026
Dear Class of 2026 Families,
We are excited to share that today’s graduation ceremony will be held outdoors in the stadium as planned. After closely monitoring the weather, we have identified a break in the forecasted rain that will allow us to move forward with an outdoor ceremony. We also spoke with our seniors, and in order to ensure that all family members can attend without any limitations on guest numbers, we are pleased to proceed with the ceremony outside.
Our team will wipe down the bleachers and chairs prior to the event; however, we recommend that guests bring towels in case seating areas remain damp. Guests are welcome to bring umbrellas if needed, but we ask that umbrellas be lowered while seated in the stands so they do not obstruct the view of others.
This is a reminder that due to capital project work beginning at the middle/high school, a portion of the parking lot will be unavailable. Additional parking is available at Tonawanda Elementary School. If you require accessible parking, designated spaces are available near the tennis courts. Please use the Hinds Street entrance and enter the stadium through the back gate. We encourage you to arrive early to allow sufficient time for parking and to ensure a timely arrival for the graduation ceremony.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility and look forward to honoring our graduates and sharing this special milestone with you. If you have any questions, please contact me at 716-694-7670.
Sincerely,
Lyndsey Todaro, Principal

Dear Parents/Caregivers,
We are excited to celebrate the Tonawanda High School Class of 2026 at our upcoming graduation tomorrow. The graduation ceremony will take place tomorrow at 4:00 PM as scheduled. We encourage all guests to arrive early to allow time for parking and seating. While we are hopeful for favorable weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the auditorium in the event of rain or inclement conditions. We will communicate the final ceremony location by noon tomorrow. Please read the following details carefully.
Outdoor Ceremony (if weather permits)
We will continue with the Class of 2026 graduation ceremony in the stadium. There will be no tickets- there is plenty of space for everyone. The gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
Indoor Ceremony (if weather is uncooperative)
Due to space limitations in the auditorium, each graduate will be provided with five tickets for guest admission to the auditorium. Tickets can be picked up today between 1:00-3:00pm and tomorrow from 7:30am-2:00pm at Door 3. There will be no reserved seating, and all guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning at 3:00 pm, guests must enter at Door 1 (main parking lot) for auditorium seating. Upon arrival, guests will be escorted to available seats by our ushers to ensure an orderly and safe process. Please wait until your entire party has arrived before entering, and if you require wheelchair-accessible seating, we kindly ask that you plan to arrive early so we have enough time to seat you comfortably.
To accommodate additional family members and guests, a live stream of the ceremony will be available in the gymnasium, where the event will be displayed on a large video board. This space will allow extended family and friends to participate in the celebration in real time. Guests must enter at Door 3 (in front of the flag pole) to view the ceremony in the gymnasium beginning at 3:00 pm.
Parking
Due to capital project work beginning at the middle/high school, a portion of the parking lot will be unavailable. You may park at Tonawanda Elementary School as well. Please plan to arrive early to allow ample time for parking and ensure a smooth, on-time arrival for the graduation ceremony.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility and look forward to honoring our graduates and sharing this special milestone with you. If you have any questions, please contact me at 716-694-7670.
Thank you,
Lyndsey Todaro, Principal
