For 25 years, the students of Tonawanda High School's self-contained class have thrived under the guidance of Kristin Planz-Christian.
As a dedicated special education teacher, Planz-Christian supports students ages 16 to 22, helping them build essential skills both in and beyond the classroom. She often shares how grateful she is for her students and the incredible support staff she has worked alongside, saying she couldn’t do this work without them.
Planz-Christian is especially proud of launching the Tonawanda Clothes Closet at the high school and introducing the popular Best Buddies program to the students.
