Tonawanda Elementary School is inviting students and staff to come together for a meaningful cause on Thursday, April 2, 2026, during a school-wide “Pajamas for P.U.N.T.” day.
Participants are encouraged to wear pajamas to school in support of the P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, a Western New York-based organization dedicated to helping families navigating the challenges of pediatric cancer. Through financial and emotional support, P.U.N.T. assists with everyday needs such as groceries, housing expenses, and other essentials, allowing families to focus on their child’s care.
Families who wish to contribute can do so by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or clicking HERE. All donations directly support local families in need. As an added incentive, students who submit proof of donation will be entered into a drawing to win a signed glove from Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox.
In addition to fundraising efforts, students will have the opportunity to participate in an optional ribbon coloring activity to help raise awareness. Completed ribbons may be displayed in school hallways as a visual show of support for children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.
This initiative provides an opportunity for the school community to come together, show compassion, and make a real difference in the lives of others—all while learning the value of giving back.
