Congratulations, 5 years, Rachel Bruce

The strength of our staff is reflected in the success of our students, and when it comes to literacy, Rachel Bruce excels in giving our students the support they need to grow as readers and learners.

For the past five years, Bruce has served as a reading interventionist, providing targeted instruction to special education students. She also plays an essential role in supporting literacy in 11th grade U.S. History classes, working to close foundational reading gaps and build students’ comprehension skills.

Among her peers, Bruce is known for cultivating strong, trusting relationships with both students and colleagues. Her warm, welcoming approach helps students feel safe taking risks, developing new skills and believing in themselves. With colleagues, she shares ideas, resources and encouragement and is always ready with a listening ear or helping hand.

Bruce's impact is felt across the district every day, and we are grateful for her dedication to the TCSD community.

Join us in thanking her for five years of service to our students.
