congratulations, melissa arnow, 35 years

With 35 years of teaching experience in the district, second-grade teacher Melissa Arnow has made a lasting impact on students and the school community.

A proud member of the Tonawanda family, Arnow began her career at Fletcher Elementary and returned “home” to the new Tonawanda Elementary School. Over the years, she has taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade and fifth grade.

She is known for fostering a love of reading in her students and supporting their growth both academically and personally. In the words of TES Principal Rob Ross, “Melissa Arnow is passionate about building a strong community and focuses on students' learning and striving to do their best. She loves to connect her students to books to grow as readers.”

Arnow also dedicates her time to the safety team at TES, having helped in the development of safety plans before the school opened.

That commitment and care make Arnow an invaluable member of the Tonawanda community. Join us in congratulating her and thanking her for her decades of dedication!
