Teaching in our district has been a lifelong journey for Jessica Warthling, second-grade teacher at Tonawanda Elementary School. From walking the halls as a student to spending 25 years shaping young learners, Warthlinghas dedicated her career to guiding students through some of the most formative years of their lives.
Warthling shares that she feels grateful every day to be here. She has served as a source of advice and encouragement for her students, often welcoming visits from alumni who return to thank her for her unwavering commitment to teaching.
Not only has Warthling played a valuable role at the elementary level, but she is also known for taking on roles in district programs and sharing ideas with fellow teachers.
Tonawanda Elementary Principal Rob Ross describes her influence best: “She builds a classroom where students are empowered to try and take risks. She builds on the PBIS work with her students to foster strong values of kindness and working together.”
Join me in congratulating Warthling for her ongoing support of our school district and her love for teaching.

Congratulations!
