back to school written on a chalkboard

Dear Timberwolves Parent/Guardian:

In three short weeks, we will welcome our students back for their first day of school. I hope your summer season has been full of relaxation, fun, and adventure. Our staff has been hard at work preparing for the opening days of school and the start of another academic year of learning, growth, and achievement.

Our facilities are receiving their final touches by our wonderful support staff. Our facilities will shine for our students and staff to begin the 2025-2026 school year in pristine conditions.

In addition to the start of the new school year, please note these additional items as we approach the first day of school for students, Tuesday, September 2:

  • Please join us for our Meet the Pack Night – Wednesday, August 27 – 4:30 pm.

    • Learn more about our annual Open House for all students/parents by clicking HERE

  • Please be reminded that our new ROOMS app will take the place of our previously used REMIND app. ROOMS will be used to share district and school information and provide a communication channel for parents to contact teachers.

    • Learn more and download the ROOMS app by clicking HERE

  • The NYS Governor has enacted a law that prohibits the student use of any internet-enabled devices during the school day. Our district has developed and approved a policy that aligns with this new law. Our principals have continued to communicate with students/parents throughout the summer to explain these new procedures and expectations.

    • Learn more about the internet-enabled device ban, which includes internet-enabled cell phones, smartwatches, and other devices, click HERE

Please have an enjoyable final weeks of summer recess. I look forward to seeing you and your children as we experience the excitement and joy of the 2025-2026 school year.

Sincerely,

Timothy A. Oldenburg, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
