Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to inform you that Tonawanda City School District has been able to secure an affordable insurance option that will cover your child’s Chromebook for the remainder of the 25-26 school year.
Worth Ave. Group can provide replacement cost coverage and protect the Chromebook against accidental damage (cracked screens/liquid spills), vandalism, theft, fire, flood, natural disasters and power surge due to lightning strikes.
Buying insurance is an annual option and parents/guardians may choose between two different coverages. Please note that the difference in coverage is adding or removing the “Theft and Vandalism” option to your policy coverage. If you choose not to purchase coverage for your student’s device, please be advised that you are liable for any and all damages done to the Chromebook while in your student’s possession and are still required to pay the $100 deductible.
All claims will be handled by our school district once the insurance has been purchased directly from the Worth Ave. Group. The policy term is 09/01/2025 to 08/31/2026 and both have a $0 deductible.
There are two options for purchase:
Acer CB – Full Coverage (includes theft) for $43.00 / Acer CB 4GB – Accidental Coverage Only for $31.00
Dell CB 4GB - Full Coverage (includes theft) for $43.00 / Dell CB 4GB - Accidental Coverage Only for $31.00.
The deadline to purchase coverage will be October 15, 2025. To purchase, please visit: https://gpo.worthavegroup.com/gpo/tonawandacsd. You will need your child’s Student ID number which can be found on a report card, in the parent portal or by stopping into the office. Worth Ave accepts; Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal.
If you choose to NOT purchase coverage, you will continue to be liable for the $100 fee. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact me.
Thank you,
Dr. Trevor McCabe
