As the 2024-25 school year winds down, Tonawanda City School District is looking ahead to next school year.
Starting today, you can begin filling out the CEP Household Income Eligibility Form and the Alternate Transportation Form for the 2025-26 school year.
School Meal Programs
TCSD will again be implementing a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program for the 2025-2026 school year.
This means all students enrolled at Tonawanda Elementary and Tonawanda Middle/High School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2025-2026 school year. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee.
We do however ask that each household complete the application linked below in order to update our funding. All families must complete a form each school year to ensure the program’s continuation. Please complete the CEP Household Income Eligibility Form and return it to school or drop it off at District Office Door 11 before September 5, 2025.
If you have any further questions, please contact us at TonaHR@tonacsd.org.

Alternate Transportation
The Alternate Transportation Form will allow your child to be picked up or dropped off at a location other than the student's home address. This would include: daycare, babysitter, etc.
This form is not to be used for transportation to a student’s place of employment at any time.
The alternate address must also be on an existing bus route and only one alternate address will be accepted for the entire week.
For grades K-5 - the alternate address must be within the attendance area of the child’s school.
In order to establish and publish bus route information, requests must be submitted prior to July 25, 2025. Requests received after July 25, 2025 will be processed in a timely fashion. **It must be noted that it may not be possible to process before the start of school if turned in after this date.
Alternate stops will be limited to Board of Education Policy (available online policy #5710). All pick up/drop off spots must be approved and are approved at the sole discretion of the district. Also, any stop that the district believes is unsafe to the student(s) or the bus, will be declined.
