For more than two decades, Tonawanda Elementary School fourth grade teacher Kristi Fuerch has embraced her role as an educator and seen it as an opportunity for new beginnings and endless possibilities.
Fuerch began in the district in 1999 as a first grade teacher at Mullen Elementary School. She taught in that role for many years before switching to Fletcher Elementary, where she worked in general education classes, in the integrated classroom and as a general education teacher in the 15:1 class. In 2021, Fuerch moved back to Mullen to be the general education teacher in the integrated classroom, a role she continued when TES opened.
She said it is truly an honor to be part of a student’s educational journey, and that commitment goes beyond the classroom. Fuerch has embraced her many roles in the district, including as peer coach, teacher liaison for PTSA, summer school teacher and club advisor.
According to Tonawanda Elementary School Principal Rob Ross, Fuerch works to ensure all students are engaged, whether with hands-on science investigations or real-world math problem-solving.
Join us in thanking her for more than 25 years of dedication to the students of this district.
