Congratulations!

Tonawanda High School physical education teacher Jaclyn Kiera says she feels blessed to have spent all these years teaching something she is so passionate about.

In her sixteenth year as a teacher at Tonawawanda City School District, Kiera said she values and appreciates her responsibility to impact all areas of student wellness. She said nothing makes her happier than watching students smile and laugh through play, a feeling she hopes they always take with them through life.

In addition to her role as a PE teacher, Kiera also serves as senior class advisor, modified swim coach and varsity track & field coach. Kiera joined our district after working at schools in California and Alabama while she completed her master’s degree.

In the words of Tonawanda High School Principal Lyndsey Todaro, “Jaclyn is an amazing teacher, advisor and coach!  She encourages student participation in PE and athletics with ease.  Jaclyn always goes above and beyond!”

Join us in thanking Jaclyn Kiera, for continuing to go above and beyond for our school community!
