This year, Tonawanda Middle School and High School have started a Best Buddies Chapter. Best Buddies creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The new Best Buddies Chapter at Tonawanda MS/HS has been very busy. At this time, there are 32 buddies and they've held two very successful events.
On Saturday, April 20th at 10am, Best Buddies will be hosting the Buffalo Friendship Walk at the Clint Small Stadium. Please consider walking with the Tonawanda Best Buddies Team or sponsoring one of the walkers by using the link below. Each walker who raises $50 will receive a T-Shirt the day of the event!
