As a Teaching Assistant, Linda Aceti has had a vital role in the classrooms of Tonawanda Middle School for the last ten years. While her focus this year has been with students in Kim Jachlewski’s math classes and Ty Hardleben’s technology classes, her past schedules have included a wide range of subjects.
She is known for going above and beyond in her responsibilities, working with the students to support them socially and emotionally. Her students know that she will always be there for them, and that devotion is evident when former students return to visit and work with her after school each day.
TMS Assistant Principal Kristine Strible said it best when she said, “Linda’s dedication to our students is unparalleled.”
While Aceti has been full-time since 2014, she actually began as a substitute for the district in 2009, doing the majority of her assignments at the elementary level. She is also a familiar face at our Christmas for Kids events, Make-A-Wish events and many dances and activity nights.
