Gowns for Prom homepage

Prom season is right around the corner, and students in the Tonawanda City School District have a valuable opportunity to find the perfect dress at no cost through Gowns for Prom.

This annual initiative, led by Colvin Cleaners, collects, professionally cleans, and distributes prom gowns to students across Western New York. Each year, more than 1,000 dresses are given away to help ensure every student has the chance to attend prom feeling confident and celebrated.

Gowns for Prom has moved to its new location at 2312 Elmwood Avenue. Students can now schedule an appointment through April to browse and select a gown that fits their style, completely free of charge.

In addition, a Prom Dress Pop-Up Event will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Collins Wesleyan Church (10470 Bantle Road, North Collins). Students can shop a selection of free gowns, shoes, and accessories to complete their prom look.

Please note: the pop-up event is by appointment only. To schedule an appointment or request more information, call or text Jen Pisa at (716) 628-9146.
