Tonawanda High School juniors and seniors will have a chance to check out area colleges and universities at the local college fair. Representatives from more than a dozen schools will visit Tonawanda High School on Tuesday, October 3, from 10:15 am until 11 am, to meet with students and answer questions about their respective institutions. The Tonawanda City School District is proud to partner with the Tonawanda Police Department to host the National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 3 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. This event will take place at the new Tonawanda Elementary School. Events will take place in the main parking lot and surrounding areas. Please use the MS/HS parking lot on Fletcher Street to attend this event.
Additionally, the community is invited to tour the new elementary school during the National Night Out event. We will also open the building for the community to tour on Wednesday, October 4 and Thursday October 5 from 5:30pm - 7pm.
Thank you to our entire Tonawanda community for your support and partnership in creating this amazing new school.

Please be reminded that the first student event hosted by the PTSA is this evening, see attached information. The Skate Night will be hosted at Rainbow Rink from 5-7:30pm. Please consider attending this event and support our PTSA.
Additionally, please consider joining the PTSA for the 23-24 school year. The membership application is attached. The $5 membership fee directly supports this local organization and our Tonawanda students.

MS and HS Parents and Students - Just a reminder, tomorrow, Aug. 23 is locker set up for MS and HS students. There will be two separate time frames to come in and set up lockers. They are 9-11am and 5-7pm. We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Last evening the BOE approved an amended calendar for the remainder of the academic school year.
The Memorial Day Holiday will be observed on Friday, May 26 AND Monday, May 29.
The last day of student attendance for grades UPK through 5 will be Friday, June 16. Our staff will begin efforts to close Mullen and Riverview Elementary Schools and transition into the new Tonawanda Elementary School during the week of June 19.
