The 2023-2024 Varsity Boys Swim and Dive team had a season for the records!

Their perfect division record made them Champs of ECIC IV, a feat last accomplished in 2006.

The team also finished as Class C champions and winner of WNY’s best small school.

Highlighting the team was the Diving program, coached by alumnus Pat Ball. The trio of Ryan Tasevski, Jasper Vara and Jackson Conley took sixth, third and first at League Championships, and was the most established program among both small and large schools.

Jackson Conley broke School records in both 6 Dive and 11 Dive events and punched his ticket to States for the second year running.

Between the lanes, the boys pushed to their limits all season.

After winning the division, the boys rallied to a third place team finish at League Championships.

Leading the way in points was sophomore Jack Shepler who was an ECIC double champion in the 200 and 500 free. Jack broke both the 200 and 200 IM school records.

Junior Jasper Vara, aside from his top diving performance, also made podium in the 50 Free.

Also making the podium was the fourth place Medley Relay team of Kyle Klimkiewicz, Jack Shepler, Matt Mysliwy and Jasper Vara.

And the third place 200 Free Relay team of Jasper Vara, Ben Vara, Ryan Tasevski, and Matt Mysliwy.

Other top performances were performed by Matt Mysliwy in the 100 Fly, Terence Harroun in the 500 Free, and the 400 Free Relay team of Klimkiewicz, Tasevski, Mysliwy, and Shepler.

Dylan Krol, a freshman, was recognized as the standout for the Gary Grant Award.

Seniors Alex Brown, Derek Sampman, Owen Dietrich and Mysliwy were recognized at the last home meet along with junior Conley who is on pace for an early graduation. Joe Shekochikhin made a senior night cameo. The team also cheered Andrew Taylor-Slocum who made great strides as a new swimmer.
