Nadine Hammersmith, 5 years, congratulations

The care and well-being of our students extend far beyond the classroom. When a student is hurt or feeling unwell, the school nurse is the reassuring presence who provides the care they need.

For the past five years, Tonawanda Middle School nurse Nadine Hammersmith has been that comforting and welcoming face for students. Known for her calm demeanor, compassion and expertise, Hammersmith brings peace of mind to students, whether they’re worried about an injury, feeling sick or managing their daily health needs.

Hammersmith says she enjoys caring for the students’ health while also supporting their ability to learn and thrive. Her role allows her to combine her passion for healthcare with her love of working with children.

Beyond her medical care, Hammersmith is a trusted colleague and valued team member who makes a tremendous impact every day. Join us in thanking her for all she does to keep our district a healthy and safe place for students to learn and grow.
