For 25 years, Tonawanda Middle School math teacher Amy Doody has shaped young minds, helping them grow in their understanding of math and develop self-confidence.
Throughout her entire career in the district, Doody has taught seventh and eighth graders, earning a reputation for inspiring perseverance through challenges. According to TMS Principal Kristine Strible, “Her lessons are engaging, her expectations are high, and her care for each student is evident in everything she does.”
Doody says it’s an honor to be part of her students’ journey, helping them gain confidence with every equation solved and every lightbulb moment.
