Regular school attendance is essential to student success. Tonawanda City School District encourages all families to make attendance a priority throughout the school year.
When planning family vacations, appointments or other activities, we ask that you make every effort to schedule them during school breaks and holidays whenever possible. Every day in the classroom provides valuable learning opportunities that help students stay engaged and achieve their goals.
To assist with planning, we have created a Holiday Planning Guide that highlights extended weekends and school recesses throughout the year. We hope this resource helps families schedule trips and other planned absences while minimizing missed instructional time.
