student runs at special olympics

Join the Tonawanda City School District student-athletes this weekend as they compete in the Special Olympics!

Tonawanda is once again hosting the Erie County Special Olympics Track and Field events at Clint Small Stadium. Schools and organizations from all over Erie County will have athletes competing in three events this Saturday: running, jumping and throwing.

Opening ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m. and events will follow until about noon.

All are welcome to come cheer on the 12 Tonawanda student-athletes between the ages of eight and 20 years old, with our National Honor Society students volunteering as one-to-one supports for athletes.
