Car parade

Fletcher Elementary School's 5th-grade students were celebrated for graduating to the Middle School with a socially distanced car parade! Around 75 students in total participated.

TFC donated candy for all of the kids, while the fire department donated bubble wands and the police department provided escorts. Volunteers from the Boys & Girls Club also helped out. Dawn Kammerdeiner from the Tonawanda City Council donated goody bags. The remaining goodies will be passed out to kids at the final goodbye to teachers on Wednesday.

It was truly an amazing day and a great way to celebrate all of the kids’ accomplishments this year, despite all that has happened with the pandemic the past few months!
